Biography: Dr. Shihu Zhong is an assistant professor and master’s supervisor in the Department of Applied Economics at the Shanghai National Accounting Institute (Asia Pacific Institute of Finance and Development) directly under the Ministry of Finance, and a special assistant researcher at the Centre for Housing and Urban-Rural Development Research of Shanghai Jiao Tong University. He is also a postdoctoral fellow at Antai College of Economics and Management, Shanghai Jiao Tong University. He received his PhD in Economics from Shanghai University of Finance and Economics. His research interests include urban and regional economics, finance, and environmental economics, etc. He has published more than 20 papers in SSCI/SCI source journals such as Regional Studies, International Regional Science Review, Journal of Environmental Management, Journal of Happiness Studies, Habitat International, Carbon Management, Sustainable Cities and Society, Energy Policy, Land Use Policy, etc., including 2 highly cited papers in ESI. He has published more than 10 papers in CSSCI source journals such as Management World, China Economic Quarterly, World Economy, etc.; He has chaired over and participated in many national and provincial level projects; He regularly serves as reviewer for International Review of Financial Analysis, Finance Research Letters, Quarterly Review of Economics and Finance, Financial Innovation, Regional Studies, Growth and Change, International Journal of Emerging Markets, Technological and Economic Development of Economy, Journal of Environmental Planning and Management, Science of the Total Environment, Natural Hazards, Innovation, Energy Research & Social Science, International Journal of Disaster Risk Reduction, Disasters, IEEE Transactions on Computational Social Systems, Journal of Cleaner Production, Polish Journal of Environmental Studies, etc.

Biography: Dr. Mingzhi Hu is an associate professor at the School of Management, Chinese Academy of Housing and Real Estate, Zhejiang University of Technology (Hangzhou, China), and a contract associate research fellow at the Center for Housing and Urban-Rural Development, Shanghai Jiao Tong University (Shanghai, China). He received his Ph.D. in economics from Shanghai University of Finance and Economics (Shanghai, China). Prior to joining the faculty of Zhejiang University of Technology, he was a Lecturer at the Department of Economics, Jinan University (Guangzhou, China). His research focus is entrepreneurship, regional studies, and urban and housing–related studies. He has published more than 30 academic articles in reputed journals such as Real Estate Economics, Journal of Real Estate Finance and Economics, Journal of Housing Economics, Journal of Real Estate Research, Small Business Economics, Technological Forecasting and Social Change, and Housing Studies. He serves as an editorial board member of SN Business & Economics.

Biography: Dr. Xiaoxin Guo is an assistant researcher at the Institute of Applied Economic Research, Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences. She received her PhD in Economics from Shanghai University of Finance and Economics. Her main research interests are urban economics and population economics, and she is currently focusing on issues related to the urbanization of rural migrants and environmental governance. She has published many papers in Regional Studies, Sustainable Cities and Society, Habitat International, Technological and Economic Development of Economy, Journal of Cleaner Production, etc., including the ESI highly cited paper, and some papers in CSSCI source journals Academic Monthly, Research Management, and Social Science Front. She has presided over and participated in many national and provincial level projects. She was awarded the Outstanding Paper Award at the 18th Annual Academic Conference of Shanghai Social Sciences and the Outstanding Paper at the 2nd China Urban Economics Scholars Forum (2019).
